The effects of climate change are now becoming increasingly noticeable in our regions as well. The press reports on “scorching heat,” and forecasts clearly show that this will become the norm every year. Yet it is precisely those who are fighting to save the planet and combat climate change who are being severely punished. Some are behind bars.
For this reason, we would like to screen a film this year about repression, surveillance, and spying within the climate justice movement, using the Earth Liberation Front as an example.
There will also be vegan food and drinks, as well as space for discussion.
The movie will be in English with English Subtitles.

On Friday August 28, we invite you to join us in writing letters to anarchist prisoners. Everyday life in prison is gray and monotonous. It cuts you off from the outside world and tries to break your imagination—and, with it, your very sense of self. Many people repeatedly describe how important solidarity was—and still is—to them, and how even a simple postcard can sometimes be crucial to your will to keep living. For people in prison, letters can mean the difference between day and night.
We want to read together the reflections on solidarity that were published as part of Solidarity Week and write letters together.
