The Day of Solidarity with Imprisoned Anarchist be held in Warsaw on August 26, from 14:00, APE, Jazdów 5A/4.
The world is unjust, but we try to fix it by fighting against various systems of oppression: capitalism, patriarchy, anthropocentrism. Very often, because of this, anarchists face a harsh response from the state and end up in captivity.
Solidarity with the imprisoned is not just a matter of sympathy or sympathy for their personal stories. It’s part of a broader political struggle – we are showing our comrades that they are not left alone to face repression, that their contribution to anarchism is significant and important, even if their freedom has now been taken away.
The Week of Solidarity with imprisoned anarchists is held every year at the end of August. It is an opportunity to once again remember the comrades sitting in prisons around the world, their political paths and ideals, and the need to support them.
We encourage you to join the fight against injustice and support comrades together! On August 26, we are organizing a day of solidarity with imprisoned anarchist at the Autonomous Education Space.
On the program:
- Presentation of the history of the International Week of Solidarity with Anarchist Prisoners
