Valparaíso, Chile: Activity in the framework of the Anarchist Prisoners’ Solidarity Week

August shakes us with the departure of two comrades on the road: Belén and Luciano. Their bodies are no longer in our land, but they live on in the memory of their supporters, in the memory of their actions and in the mark they have left on this road we are walking against all forms of oppression.

August has also brought us the Week of Agitation to get comrade Francisco Solar out of solitary confinement, who is serving an 86-year sentence described as life imprisonment in disguise. Then, remembering that horrible morning of 23 August 1927 when comrades Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti were assassinated by the American state and whose case raised a gigantic agitation and solidarity without borders. This date calls us to raise year after year, the Week of International Solidarity for the Anarchist Prisoners and the end of their imprisonment.

In this context, we invite you to participate in the screening of the documentary: “El honor de las Injurias: captura y caída de Felipe Sandoval”: an investigation by José García-Alix on the controversial figure of Sandoval, an anarchist vindicator of the Spanish territory, in times of struggle against Francoism and the complicit bourgeoisie. And to continue with a conversation accompanied by a vegan lunch.

TUESDAY 27th AUGUST
