black and white poster with an island in the middle and ships sailing around, pirate style, Pirata wars on top and swords as a frame

On 30.08.2025, Pirata Wars sets sail once again! So get out of your piss-soaked bunks and grab your saws, hammers, and duct tape! Organize a crew! Build a boat! Get your water guns and grappling hooks ready and set course for La Tortuga! Join the wild pirate raid, because the Prussian crown won’t expropriate itself!

The following Boat Code applies to your plank rafts, and you should follow it:

  • Your boats must be D.I.Y.!!!
  • All boats should/must be made from recycled materials!!!
  • No environmentally harmful parts should come loose from your boat – and nothing should be left in the water!!!
  • Your crew must be able to carry the boat!!!
  • Your crew should be able to dispose of the boat after Pirata Wars!!!
  • You should be able to move quickly (if you showing up with a motor you’ll become the laughingstock of the crowd – and will be sunk immediately)
  • Every crew needs a 1×1 meter hand-painted flag!!! Leave your national or territorial flags at home! Surely you don’t have a letter of marque, do you?!?… And even if you do, same rule applies as with motors (see above)!!!
  • Don’t go raiding drunk!

Come with your boats at 12:00 to La Tortuga. At 13:12 the wild brackish water rebellion begins!

Afterwards, we will have a party at La Tortuga. We’ll collecting donations for Anarchist Black Cross Berlin.
