Over the past few years, there has been a significant rise in the incarceration of the Belarusian population, especially among those who have expressed their opposition to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.<br><br>We&#8217;ll be offering coffee, tea, and vegan desserts for donations. All proceeds will go towards supporting political prisoners in Belarus. Enjoy our company while learning about and supporting the cause of abolition.<br><strong><br>Agenda:<\/strong><br>&#8211; A brief overview of the dire situation in Belarus.<br>&#8211; Introduction to some Belarusian political prisoners and an exploration of what the term &#8220;political prisoner&#8221; entails.<br>&#8211; An opportunity to send support posts to Belarusian political prisoners.<br><br>?
